Rukayat Alawiye Launches Album

Rukayat Alawiye, top female Islamic singer and wife of Amodu Alawiye, popularly called Bashirimi, will on Sunday, 1 June unveil her latest album, Oore Ojiji.

The formal presentation will hold at the Time Square, Ajao Street, off Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja with Wasiu Alabi Pasuma on the band stand.

The event is also billed to commemorate the 41st birthday anniversary of her husband, the president of Islamic Musician Association of Nigeria, ISMAN, Alhaji Wasiu As-sidiq.

Ifankalelluyah and Doyin Kukoyi are the anchors.

Popular Islamic scholar, Buhari Musa will deliver the lecture and the Osolo of Osolo, Oba Kabiru Adelaja is the royal father of the day.
