Tiwa Savage, Flavour, For Lagos’ Road To MAMAs

With the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards, MAMA, just over a week away, the line-up for MTV Base’s Road to MAMA party just gets better and better as no less than eight MAMA  nominees take the stage together for Lagos’ off-the-chart pre-MAMA warm-up.

Top Nigerian stars, Flavour, Tiwa Savage and Dr Sid will join Davido, Mafikizulu, Burna Boy, KCee, Chidinma and others at the Road To MAMAs concert which will hold on 30 May at The Marquee, Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos

To also make sure the party goes with a bang, and keep Lagos party people on the dance floor through to the wee hours of the morning, will be DJ Humility, DJ Caise, DJ Spinall and DJ Obi.

Featuring contemporary artists and music that are making waves across the continent, Road To MAMA, is a pan-African club tour, that has been criss-crossing the continent in the build up to the MAMA awards.

Previous editions have visited Durban, South Africa and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The MAMA takes place at the Durban International Convention Centre (ICC), on Saturday 7 June and will be broadcast around the world on MTV, MTV Base, BET International and affiliate stations.
