OC Ukeje, Dakore Akande, Gideon Okeke, Tope Tedela and Tina Mba are some of the A-list actors that are expected to perform at the next edition of Open Mic Theatre tagged the Home Grown Edition.
According to the Make It Happen Productions, the producers of the show, the Home Grown edition will hold on Friday, 13 June at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos, with performers presenting pieces written and created only by Nigerians and the event which is free to attend will give new writers the platform to showcase new pieces.
Oxygen Theatre will deliver a special showcase and Ese belting out beautiful music for guests.
Other expected performers during the show are Okey Uzoeshi, Lala Akindoju, Wole Ojo, Uzo Osimkpa, Lily Byoma, Abiodun Kassim, Omoye Uzamere, Ayo Ajike and other talented actors.
“Open Mic Theatre has always witnessed amazing performances by upcoming and popular acts. Actors give a 100 per cent and more on stage and are able to bring out different motions from the audience. This edition will be no different and even better, we guarantee that,” the organisers said.
