Students of the Edo State College of Agriculture have commended Globacom for providing excellent services on their campus located at Iguoriakhi.

Making the commendation in Benin City on Tuesday while on a courtesy visit to the Benin Regional office of Globacom, the President of the Students Union Government (SUG) of the college, Comrade Agape Agbolahor, said “Globacom has made learning and research easy on our campus by providing us with excellent telecom services.”

“I am here first to introduce myself as the newly elected President of the Students Union Government of College of Education, Iguoriakhi and most importantly, to thank Globacom for its excellent services at the college. The entire college community, particularly the students, is grateful to Globacom for coming to Iguoriakhi and giving us the best of telecommunications services,” he said.

Comrade Agbolahor, who was accompanied on the visit by some of his executive cabinet members recalled that there was no single telecommunications service in the college in 2009 when he was there for his ND programme. He noted that “learning has now been made very easy and we can carry out research on the internet because Globacom has come to provide services in the College.”

“We also want to record it here that the data service of your company remains the preferred service by the entire students as we have no problem logging on to any site on the Glo modem day and night. We are indeed proud that Globacom is representing the nation well in the telecommunications sector and we wish the company more strength to achieve more successes,” he prayed.

The SUG President expressed confidence that Globacom would continue to delight the entire college community and solicited support for infrastructural development in the college.

Receiving the students’ leaders, Mr. Rowland Odolokor, Edo State Manager, Globacom, said that the company would not rest on its oars at “ensuring that we give the best to our subscribers irrespective of their locations”

“Coming to Iguoriakhi, a place other networks will consider rural, is a piece of cake to Globacom because we pioneered rural telephony in this country, and we will continue to take our world-class services to the hinterlands until all the nooks and crannies of the country are talking, Odolokor promised.
