Igbo group commends Fashola over Ndubusi Kanu park

The Ndigbo Cultural Society of Nigeria (NCSN) has commended Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola for naming one of the finest parks in the state after Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu (Rtd.).
In a statement by Chief Udoka Udeogaranya, its President, Ndigbo Cultural Society of Nigeria said the ability of the governor to rise above all tribal, ethnic and sectional considerations and enthrone merit where it fits most is worthy of emulation by all governors and state chapters of political parties that are still neck deep in tribal considerations before fielding candidates in any elective post.
“Ndigbo, being the first family of the nationalist, Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu (retd.) thanks the governor and pray that his successor will honour him when he finally leaves office as he has honoured Admiral Kanu, his predecessor.”
