Husband wants divorce over sex starvation

A 34-year old man, Ayokunle Aladesiun, on Friday 27 June asked an Ado-Ekiti Customary Court to dissolve his three-year old marriage to his wife, Folashade, alleging sex starvation.

Besides, he alleged that the woman had no respect for members of his family.

According to him, Folashade does not respect my family, coupled with the fact that she starves me of sex.

Aladesiun also told the court that his wife had threatened his life for failure to meet her needs.

But 28-year old Folashade denied the allegations.

She told the court that she had always showed great respect for her husband’s family.

She accused the man of infidelity and refusal to care for the family.

President of the court, Mrs Olayinka Akomolede, adjourned ruling in the case till 17 July.
