Injured Neymar taken to hospital for tests

Brazil star forward Neymar was taken to hospital to undergo tests after getting kneed in the back in Friday’s quarter-final match against Colombia, Globo television reported.

The player was stretchered off in agony after a challenge from Colombia defender Juan Camillo Zuniga toward the end of Brazil’s 2-1 victory in the northeastern city of Fortaleza.

Globo television did not give more details about the injury or the hospital.
