The Adamawa State Government on Tuesday inaugurated a five-member panel to probe the activities of Adamawa Homes and Savings Limited.

The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof Liman Tukur, said in Yola that the panel would undertake a comprehensive assessment of the operations of the company.

Tukur said it would also investigate the company’s financial sources and the management of such finances.

The SSG said the committee was also expected to investigate housing development allocation and management as well as any other issue associated with the operations of the financial institution.

Responding, the Chairman of the committee, Mr Joshua Atiku, assured that the committee would not disappoint the government and people of Adamawa.

Other members of the committee are Saidu Babikkoi, Adamu Inuwa, Mohammed Usman and Mahmud Birdir who would serve as Secretary.

It has two weeks to submit it report.
