Angel Tee Returns With ‘You & Me’

Angel Tina Ekpunnobi, otherwise known as Angel Tee, may not feature on the current Top 10 list of Nigeria’s leading female singers, but the pretty singer is coming into the Nigerian music industry to make an impact with her sonorous voice.

“I have what it takes to make a change in the Nigerian music industry. Coupled with my experience singing around Europe, I think I understand the music industry very well,” Angel told P.M.NEWS Entertainment Cafe.

This may not be an empty boast because the Dublin, Republic of Ireland-based singer and model has been in the music business for quite some time. She got her start at age 17 as a backup singer for big acts of the 1990s including Felix Liberty and Alex O.

“I have always loved music and I have been doing music for a long time. My coming back to Nigeria is to fulfil my dream of becoming one of the biggest female artists,” said Angel Tee who also doubled as video vixen.

She disclosed that working with the likes of Alex O at the beginning of her career was an awesome experience.

“In fact, he (Alex O) encouraged me to develop my singing talents as well as prodded me to make new music. The video of my first single in Nigeria Should I? was recently shot, produced and directed by him. Unknown to many, he is one of the top video directors in and outside the country right now,” she said.

Listening to Alex O’s counsel, the multi-talented singer has now forged a respectable path of her own as a solo singer, and with the release of her newest single, You & Me, she hopes to kick the momentum of her game into overdrive.

The new single, You & Me, which is her second, was released under her own label, Bossworld Entertainment. It is produced by Cold Flames, a fast growing music producer. And its launch is coming on the heel of the success recorded with her debut, Should I?. And those songs have been getting media reviews as well as also become toast of most favourite radio stations across the country.

And since her return to Nigeria, Angel has performed in A-list shows in Lagos.
