Voters on OAU campus affirm tranquility

Accreditation and voting at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state have been peaceful, voters in the area have affirmed.
The voting exercise commenced at 12:30 p.m., immediately after the conclusion of accreditation of the eligible voters.
P.M. News gathered that voters at the polling stations have described the ongoing gubernatorial election in Osun state as “peaceful”, as INEC official and other law enforcement agencies have been working relentlessly to stall violence.
Mrs Ishola, a voter, told P.M. News that the ongoing election has been conducive and peaceful.
“So far, the exercise has been peaceful and I hope it will remain calm till the electioneering process is completed,” she enthused.
