South Africa warns Lesotho coup ‘shall not be tolerated’

Regional powerhouse South Africa warned Saturday that it would not tolerate an apparent military coup in Lesotho, after soldiers surrounded the police headquarters and premier’s residence.
South Africa “warns that such unconstitutional change of government shall not be tolerated,” foreign affairs spokesman Clayson Monyela told journalists in the capital Pretoria.
