Managing Director, Golden Chance Lotto, Charles Arthur, has bemoaned the activities of miscreants in the lotto industry.

Speaking at the official commissioning of the new Ibadan office of Golden Chance Lotto and Winners Golden Bet held recently, Arthur emphasised miscreants are not fully flushed out of the industry and as a result, still perpetrate various nefarious activities due to their greed and stubborn attitudes.

The official commissioning of the new gigantic building for the Ibadan service of the two companies was performed by the Chairman of the Pools and Betting Commission in Oyo State, Prince Akinbiyi.

Speaking at the event, Prince Akinbiyi commended the Golden Chance Lotto for playing by the rules and regulations of the pools, lotto and betting games, noting that the company has instilled confidence in the minds of lotto players due to its transparent and honest performance.

Arthur commended the commission for enforcing the rules of betting and lotto in the state which has assisted in bringing sanity to the industry and drive away dubious people from the industry. “We want you not to relent however, in putting in place measures that will fully sanitise the industry,” Arthur added.

According to him, the Lotto company has just introduced seven new games, which were put in place as response to the clamouring of the stakers and agents “ Our dedication of this house is an indication that we have come here to do honest and mature business and that we intend to be around for a very long time,” he added.

Unlike conventional lottery, Arthur stated that government should realise that there is no ceiling to winning in lotto. “Anyone can win any amount. Government tends to think that money ‘flows’ in this business. This is not so. It is a very risky business that requires shrewd financial management,” he said.

The gigantic two-storey building will house the operations of Golden Chance Lotto and its sister company, Winners Golden Bet in Ibadan.
