Darey, Burna Boy Set For GUS X1 Final Selection Party

On Saturday 6 September, two of Nigeria’s finest music acts, Darey Art Alade and Burna Boy have been billed to thrill guests that will present at the Final Selection Party for the Gulder Ultimate Search Season 11.

The Final Selection Party, which will take place at the Ocean View Ground of Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, will produce 12 finalists that will eventually proceed to the jungle for this year’s ultimate search.

“It promises to be a night of pure fun for our fun loving consumers,” said Onyeka Okoli, Senior Brand Manager, Gulder, Nigerian Breweries Plc.

For this Season X1 tagged, ‘The Mission’, 30 contestants have emerged from the just concluded regional screenings which took place in Awka, Benin, Port Harcourt and Lagos. The finalists will proceed to the fiery forest of Aguleri in Anambra State, where the search will take place.

The contestant who emerges the Ultimate hero from the contest will go home with the grand prize of N10 million and an SUV, while the second, third and fourth runners up will get N3 million, N2.5 million and N1.5 million respectively. When evicted, each of the contestants will receive differing sums of money, ranging from N1million to N1.5 million.

Okoli disclosed that for tomorrow event to take place, ‘The Cube’, an object of inestimable value and also key to GUS X1 has to be retrieved. And the retrieval of the object can only be accomplished by the past GUS champions.

The past champions are Ezeugo Egwuagwu, Lucan Chambliss, Hector Jobarteh, Dominic Mudabai, Michael Nwachukwu, Uche Nwaezeapu, Oyekunle Oluwaremi, Christopher Okagbue, Paschal Eronmose and Dennis Okike.

Okoli remarked that the fate of Gulder Ultimate Search 11 lay in the hands of these past winners whom he added are currently searching for The Cube.

a unique mobile clubbing concept which is geared towards engaging and exciting consumers of the Gulder beer, will commence at the same venue.
