NSCDC gathers intelligence report on APC North-West meeting

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Sokoto state said it had already deployed some personnel to gather intelligence report on the North-West meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

The NSCDC Commandant, Alhaji Aliyu Yamel, told NAN in Sokoto that the command would deploy 450 personnel for Monday’s North-West meeting of the APC in the state.

Yamel said that the command would partner with other sister security agencies to provide effective security during the meeting.

He warmed against any form of political violence and thuggery during the meeting, saying that anyone found wanting would be deal with accordingly.

The commandant also called on leaders of political parties to preach the principles of political tolerance and understanding among themselves.

He also advised parents not to allow their children to be used as political thugs, warning that anyone caught would be sanction.
