9ice Kicks Off House Of Reps Campaign

Afro-pop star, Adegbola Adigun Abolore, better known as 9ice, on Wednesday 10 September, kicked off his political campaign in his hometown, Ogbomosho, Oyo State with a massive rally and visits to the town’s political elders.

9ice, who addressed the crowd that turned out at the Ogbomosho Town Hall in Oja Igbo area of the city, said his ambition as a politician is for real and he is bent on affecting positively the lives of his people.

“This is for real. I am in this to change the life of my people. Politics shouldn’t be for personal aggrandizement. It is a platform to care for the people and my mission is to care for the people of Ogbomosho. Once I emerge the winner, I am promising to use all my salaries received for four years to cater for people of Ogbomosho,” the music star assured.

9ice is vying for the ticket to represent his people in Ogbomosho North/South & Orire Federal Constituency1 under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC.

He will be battling others for the nomination at the primaries coming up on 22 November.
