Delta APC sacks organising Secretary

The Delta state chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Monday wielded its sledge hammer when it slammed an indefinite suspension order on the party’s organising secretary, Mr. A.S. Mene, over alleged anti-party activities.

In a terse press statement issued and signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Isaac Adaka Adakpo, the party stated that the suspended Mr. Mene was also sanctioned over alleged gross misconduct.

According to the press statement, the suspension letter was handed over to Mene last Saturday at the party secretariat in Asaba, adding that, the suspension was with immediate effect.

It further stated that a five-man panel headed by the State Legal Adviser has been set up to investigate the activities of Mene and that the panel is expected to report back to the State Working Committee (SWC) at the end of investigation.
