Less than two weeks after eviction from ongoing MTN Project Fame West Africa 7.0, Kofo, has made history by releasing a new single, titled ‘Dem Boiz’.
The song has attracted positive response with rotation on some radio stations across the country.
Speaking on the new single, Kofo said her experience while in the MTN Project Fame Academy helped in the totality of the work.
“I really learnt a lot from the Academy, which reflects in this new track. The faculty and judges really tried their best in making us better singers and performers,” the young talented singer and keyboardist said.
She noted that getting evicted from the show earlier wasn’t about her not being talented but not having enough votes from fans outside.
“I have never been down or I wouldn’t have been able to do what I did now…It’s a competition and one person must win and the fact that you didn’t win does not make you a loser. That was why I was determined to let the whole world and my fans know that my talent and ability which they believed in will be exhibited outside the academy,” she said.
Meanwhile, since she released the song, Kofo has been hosted by some clubs and lounges. She also has plans for more tours in the weeks ahead.
