Oshiomhole sacks aide over poor performance

An Executive Director in the services of Edo state government, Mr. Hillary Ekhoye, has been relieved of his duties by the state governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
Ekhoye who was in charge of Public Procurement Agency, was sacked over alleged poor performance.
A letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, dated Wednesday, 24 September, 2014, said the termination takes immediate effect.
The letter also directed Mr. Ekhoye to hand over any government property in his possession to the Secretary, Edo State Public Procurement Agency.
