Akon’s Official DJ, Benny D, Others Get Heineken Green Light

DJ Benny D, the official DJ for Konvict music superstar Akon, is set to hit Lagos, Nigeria, in the most innovative clubbing experience, called the ‘Heineken Green Light’ party.

The clubbing event, which is set to give the Lagos nightlife a new dimension, will feature Benny D and two other world famous DJs, in three different nights of glamour and exquisiteness in three premium clubs in Lagos.

Benny D will set the ball rolling for the takeover at Club Escape, Victoria Island, Lagos on 4 October.

The ‘Heineken Green Light’ club parties will feature the limited edition Heineken Smart bottle called ‘Ignite’, which is an interactive bottle that lights up in sync with beat of music, when cheering with the bottle and when taking a sip.

One of DJ Benny D’s singles ‘Don’t Let Up’ appears on Akon’s multi-platinum CD, which has sold over 3 million copies worldwide.

He was also an official DJ for American female rapper, Eve, as well as R & B group, TLC.
