Six unidentified persons narrowly escaped death by the whiskers Monday morning in Benin when the driver of the green Nissan car in which they were riding lost control and ran into the parameter fence of the Museum located in the King’s square.

The vehicle which apparently entered the Ring Road from the Airport Road entrance, jumped the fence and got hooked on it.

Eyewitnesses said the six passengers in the vehicle ‎were helped down from the vehicle and rushed to the Central Hospital for medical attention.

The eyewitnesses who described the driver of the car as reckless and abnormal, attributed the cause of the accident to excessive speed.
