Come Sunday, 5 October, 2014, Surulere, Lagos-based Stadium Hotel’s Papingo Night Club will play host to teeming highlife music buffs and other music enthusiasts as ace trumpeter and highlife music maestro, Dr. Victor Abimbola Olaiya (OON), will be leading his All Stars International Orchestra to thrill them with tunes that ruled the air waves some decades ago.
Tagged: An Evening With Victor Olaiya, the show is staged by the octogenarian on the first Sunday of every month, but this one, according to him, is going to be special as it coincides with this year’s Eid-el Kabir celebration.
Expected to join him on stage are some of his children, ‘Bayode, ‘Bidemi and ‘Biodun as well as the late Orlando Owoh’s sing-alike, Stephen More, a.k.a. Orlando Junior, among other guest artistes.
