A socio-political organisation, Black Creations International, says it would mobilise youths to support President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election in 2015.

Dr Joseph Brown-Diogo, the Chairman of the organisation, said in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday that the decision was taken a critical assessment of Jonathan’s performance in the first term of his administration.

He said that although the tenure was characterised by security challenges in some parts of the country, the organisation recognised the roles of his administration in addressing most of the challenges.

According to him, in spite of the challenges, Jonathan’s administration has also engaged many jobless youths across the country.

He said the president had recorded successes in key sectors such as health, education and economy, among others.

He noted that the organisation was convinced by the president’s achievements in the development of infrastructure and the recent rebasing of the Gross National Product (GDP).

Brown-Diogo recalled that the president, during his first term, had also celebrated the 50th Independence, Nigeria Centenary and the recent National Honours awards, among others.

The chairman, therefore, called on the youth to support the president in 2015 to sustain the Transformation Agenda of the Federal Government.

He also advised young Nigerians to take active roles in politics to strengthen democracy which, he said, had brought a lot of developments to the country.
