The Super Eagles have been advised to go for outright victory when they lock horns with Sudan in Group A match of the 2015 AFCON qualifiers in Khartoum tomorrow.

Major sponsor of Nigerian national teams, Globacom, in a press release in Lagos yesterday enjoined the team to raise their game and record a resounding victory in the encounter in order to return to reckoning in the group.

The Eagles trail with one point in Group A behind leader Congo Brazzaville and South Africa who have six and four points respectively while Sudan has no point, having lost the previous two matches.

“This is like a new beginning for Nigeria in the group and we believe the Super Eagles’ technical crew has evolved the winning formula to put the team back in contention for the ticket to Morocco 2015 AFCON finals,” Globacom said.

The telecommunications giant called on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to motivate the national team towards guaranteeing victory in the crucial game

“We cannot afford to slip further. All hands will have to be on deck for the Eagles to overcome the Sudanese challenge,” the statement added.

Globacom also urged all Nigerians to rally behind the Eagles and galvanise them to victory.
