Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe state has expressed satisfaction with his performance in the last three and a half years of administering the state.
Dankwambo stated this in an interview with newsmen shortly after his return from Hajj in Gombe on Saturday night.
He said that his administration had delivered a lot of democracy dividends in the state as it was testified by people in the state.
According to him, at the time of his electioneering campaign in 2011, he did not promise anything to the people of the state.
He said, however, having reviewed his performances so far; he was satisfied with his achievements.
The governor also said the people had also expressed satisfaction over the developmental efforts made by his administration.
He said that on assumption of office in 2011, he promised to ensure justice, equity and fair play, adding that he feel fulfilled as a lot of people in the state were satisfied with his performance.
On 2015, Dankwambo said he was yet to decide on whether he would seek re-election, saying he would consult with stakeholders and Gombe people first before taking a position.
The governor also urged President Goodluck Jonathan to continue in 2015, having delivered on his mandate.
He further commended the president for his concern to the state in transforming it and the country at large.
According to him, the Jonathon administration had recorded numerous development strides.
He added that the Jonathan administration did not short-change Gombe state in either allocation of national resources, political appointments or and in other areas.
