Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Amaju Pinnick, has warned the Super Eagles that Nigerians would not accept anything short of victory in their Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifying match against Sudan in Abuja tomorrow.

Pinnick, who was with the team at their training in Abuja yesterday stated that, “Nigerians are so passionate about this game; everywhere I enter now, they tell me that Nigerians will not want to hear excuses. So, please we don’t want to hear any story; go ahead and prove us right.

“Once we are able to get through this match on Wednesday, we will beat Congo in Congo by God’s grace and then beat South Africa in Uyo, which gives us 10 points.

“Technically if we get 10 points we will be second in the group; we are working and praying towards that and I believe we will be able to achieve it.”

Meanwhile, Nigeria and CSKA Moscow winger Ahmed Musa is facing a race against time to be fit for the game against Sudan on Wednesday.

Musa, who was substituted in the 1-0 loss to Sudan in Khartoum last weekend sat out Monday evening’s training session after failing to train with the main group for the second time.
