Governor Ibikunle Amosun has joined other Nigerians to react to the defection of the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Aminu Tambuwal from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the main opposition party in the country, All Progressive Congress (APC).

Tambuwal yesterday at the floor of the House announced his defection to APC, saying that his defection was based on political reasons after nationwide consultation.

It would be recalled that the governor of Sokoto State, Aliyu Wamakko (where the Speaker hails from) alongside state lawmakers defected to APC except for the state deputy governor, Alhaji Mukhtar Shagari.
