Tambuwal sues IGP over withdrawal of security aides

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal at about 12:40 pm Friday stormed the federal high court in Abuja alongside his lawyers and members of the House, to file his suit challenging the withdrawal of his security personnel by the Inspector General of Police.

The Inspector General of Police had ordered the re-assignment of the policemen and escorts attached to the Speaker following his defection from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, to the opposition All Progressive Congress.
