Pastor Bakare Marks 60th Birthday

The Serving Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly and Convener of Save Nigeria Group, Pastor Tunde Bakare, was 60 years old on Tuesday, 11 November and a week-long activities have been lined up to celebrate the milestone.

The activities began on Sunday, 9 November with a Night of Thanksgiving at the Latter Rain Assembly Auditorium, Akilo Road, Ikeja, Lagos. It was followed on Monday, 10 November with a symposium on The Role of  Journalism in Nation Building.

On Tuesday, 11 November, there was a birthday service also at the church auditorium and on Wednesday, 12 November, Pastor Bakare is expected to visit the less privileged at the Ijamido Home.

Pastor Bakare will also visit his birthplace in Abeokuta on Thursday, 13 November, while there will be a public lecture and presentation of his new book, Moment of Truth, at Sheraton Hotel, Lagos, on Friday, 14 November at 10am.

The birthday events will be rounded off on Sunday, 16 November at the church auditorium with a thanksgiving service at 9am.
