National leader of APC and former governor of Lagos, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has insinuated that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are Siamese Twins following INEC’s dismal handling of the Permanent Voters Card exercise.

The APC leader lashed at INEC for reducing Lagos voters from 6.2million in 2011 to 4.8million. He noted that the PDP and INEC are Siamese twins, but pledged “we will separate them through surgical operation.”

It would be recalled that APC-governed states have been seriously hit by INEC’s PVC exercise. INEC had to extend the exercise by one day in Lagos, Ogun and Kano states (APC-governed states) because of the poor handling of the exercise in all three states. The body was also accused of reducing voters in Ogun and Kano state with the aim of disenfranchising them.
