Kano governor Rabiu Kwankwaso and presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress on Thursday in Kaduna expressed optimism that the opposition party, All Progressives Party, APC, will sweep away all the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, leaders who are stealing money meant for development come 2015.
Kwankwaso, who spoke during the formal declaration of an APC governorship aspirant in Kaduna state, said Nigeria needs change and that the time for the change is now.
While calling on Nigerians to join forces together to effect the change come 2015, he also maintained that Nigeria needs a leader who will unite the people regardless of their tribes and religion.
He urged the electorate to shun money politics and vote the right candidates into elective positions.
“In doing this, we must come together and resolve to sweep away the thieves of this country in 2015, he added.
