We’ll Make Roads Safe During Festive Season —FRSC Boss

Corps Marshal and Chief Executive of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Boboye Oyeyemi, said on Wednesday that his agency will ensure lives are saved and the roads are safe during yuletide season.

Oyeyemi, who paid a visit to the corporate headquarters of TheNEWS/P.M.NEWS, in Lagos, western Nigeria, said he will ensure that rules and regulations are enforced and speed limit is brought down across Nigeria.

Accidents caused by speeding cars account for over 50 percent of crashes, Oyeyemi said.

He said sensitisation campaign for safer roads kicked off early this week.
