On Saturday, 22 November, the world of African television will experience an exciting development as popular radio personality and Big Brother Africa host, IK Osakioduwa launches his new show.
The show, Highlites With IK, will air on Africa Magic Showcase (DSTV channel 151) and will tackle societal issues with a dose of humour and wit.
Explaining the vision behind the show, IK Osakioduwa said Highlites with IK will be a refreshing and light-hearted take on current affairs and societal issues around people.
“We will focus on pop culture and people making the news – all with a very healthy dose of wit, laughter and fun. This is a news show with a difference and people should expect to get incredibly entertained whilst also getting informed,” he said.

Highlites with IK will feature popular hash-tag topics on social media and interviews with celebrities and personalities. The show will feature rib-cracking open letters on social issues and hilarious pre-recorded skits for the everyday, yet upwardly mobile Nigerian and guests will also be engaged in intelligent yet light hearted games and battles.
