According to him, APC needs a presidential candidate who will win election, not one whose candidature will be difficult to sell to the electorate, adding that “Nigerians are hoping on all APC national delegates for a redeemer.”

The Edo APC Publicity Secretary‎ in the press statement, saluted all Edo delegates who voted in the just concluded state and national assemblies primaries for demonstrating true party spirit.

“Your peaceful conduct and free choice of candidates stand you all out as citizens with good conscience and firm patriotic spirit,” he said, adding that the sportsmanship manner by which most losers in the primaries accepted their defeat stand them out as heroes of democracy.

He however assured that all losers at the various primary elections would be “be rewarded in appropriate measures in due time, because by making the exercise rancour-free, you have all become winners of peace and unity for our great party.”
