Chief Francis Inegbeneki, a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo State chapter, was Monday voted the party’s candidate for the state’s central senatorial district for the 2015 general elections.
The primary election result showed that Inegbeneki scored 852 votes to defeat three other aspirants, with his closest rival, Joe Okojie, scoring 335 votes, Theo Okoh, 271 votes and Engineer Osadolor Ordia came last with five votes.
A total of 1,463 votes were recorded as valid votes while six votes were voided.
