The rumour making the rounds that Governor Chibuike Amaechi had been picked as the Vice Presidential candidate to General Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressive Congress, APC, has been described as untrue because nothing like that is on the cards.
Hon. Dakuku Peterside, the Rivers state governorship candidate of APC made the clarification today while reacting to the rumour that went viral.
“I can tell you authoritatively that there is no truth in the reportss online. Rt.Hon.Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has not been picked and at no time was the issue of Vice Presidential candidacy tabled for discussion.”
Peterside asked Nigerians to vote for Buhari and APC “to clean up the mess Nigeria is presently in.Buhari and APC has the road map to sort out quagmire we in for the past years”.
