Chris Ihidero, popular columnist and erstwhile manager of Amaka Igwe Studios, has introduced his innovative project called ‘True Nollywood Stories’ (TNS).
The new initiative, the first of a series via his new company, Pinpoint Media, is a 24 hour digital magazine available on web, mobile, radio and TV. It is an entertaining and informative platform that reflects the innovative and dynamic spirit of Nollywood.
“Our simple mission is to entertain and inform Nollywood’s global audiences wherever they may be. In no time, we intend to become the leading global entertaining and informative one-stop resource platform for news, views, reviews, previews and general information about Nollywood,” Ihidero told P.M.NEWS Showbiz Trend.
According to him, “the phenomenal successes that Nollywood has recorded in the past 22 years have come about through mutually beneficial collaborations. This distinguished tradition is what TNS seeks to continue, as a platform for all industry practitioners.
“TNS is available to you for news, reviews, interviews, events coverage and all other avenues for engagement and promotion of our illustrious industry.”
Ihidero noted that at launch, TNS will be available on web and mobile at www.tns.ng, and in January 2015 it will have a weekly 30-minute radio show on one of the top radio stations in Lagos and also be available as a podcast. A weekly show will also kick off on YouTube and by the second quarter of 2015, TNS will be on television, he said.
The website debuts with a community of respected columnists including Onoshe Nwabuikwu, Ufuoma MCDermott , Ali Abubakar Sadiq, Nkiru Njoku, Oris Aigbokhaevbolo, Segun Odejimi, Fidelis Duker, Funmi Aluko, Ihidero himself and many more.
