Fire Outbreak At OAU Female Hostel

Mayhem in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, as one of the female Hotels, Moremi Hall, was gutted by fire on Thursday 18 December.

It was reported that the fire outbreak began at Block A, room 305, Moremi Hall and was due to an electric spark from the hotplate used by the one of the room members.

As at the time of filing this report no casualty was recorded by the school authority but the PM News can report the property of the occupants of Room 305 was lost to the fire.
