The serving overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare has described 2015 as a year of integration and not of disintegration of Nigeria.

Bakare stated this while preaching at a packed church service in Lagos, western Nigeria, to usher in the election year in the country

He said although there would be turmoil in the country, that would be momentary as God would usher in an unprecedented peace and joy across the country.

Bakare said United States and all those who think Nigeria would break up this year would be amazed when they witness the peace that would pervade the land after the initial ‘shaking’ that would affect those who do evil.

He also said all those in captivity, including over 200 Chibok schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram on 14 April last year, would be set free.

While giving a situation report for 2014, he announced that 196 babies were born in the year, while seven members went to be with the Lord.
