Glo-CAF Awards: Night Of Fun Awaits Africa —Artistes

It would be a night of fun when the Glo-CAF Awards gala holds this Thursday in Lagos.

This was the promise of the array of stars who have been lined up to light up the prestigious event which will be witnessed by who is who in African football.

A cross section of artistes promised to make it a night of fun, glamour and endless entertainment.

Diamond from Tanzania said that he is  eager to perform at Glo-CAF Awards for the first time, adding that  “Africa should expect to see the best performance of all time at Glo-CAF Awards, if am not mistaken, because I have put all my life in music.”

On the part of Soweto Gospel Choir, “Africa will see pure energy during our performance at the Glo-CAF awards. They will hear beautiful harmonies and see exciting dancing. Soweto gospel choir are not just singers, we are performers, and our audience will feel totally uplifted as they experience the joy of music and our love for life.

Hakim, the folk singer from Egypt promised to present to Africa the Egyptian shaabi music which according to him, is a small branch of all the rich music of Africa.

King of Afro-jazz, Lagbaja, is set to entertain the guests with his scintillating tunes. The masked one whose music continues to fascinate with its unique focus on a core of African drums promises an engaging outing at the Glo-CAF awards.

Flavour, the Nabania crooner says he can’t wait to perform at the event. The celebrated Glo ambassador who has performed at several events will bring his musical skills to bear.

Afro hip-hop sensation, Wande Coal is on the list of performing artistes at the event. He is excited to be one of the performing artistes.

For Omawumi, she expects to thrill the guests with her sonorous voice which has won her several awards. ‘Oma wonder’ as she is fondly called will perform her favourite hits.

Other top acts performing at the continental event include Congo DRC’s multiple award-winning song writer, singer and guitarist, Fally Ipupa; and global Jazz icon, Hugh Masekela from South Africa, pan African group, Cirque D’Afrique, Zeynab from Benin Republic and sensational singing group, Uhuru also from South Africa.
