Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state has appointed former National Auditor of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who also contested for the Senatorial seat of Ogun Central, High Chief (Hon.) Bode Mustapha as the Director General for his reelection campaign team.

BM as Mustapha is fondly called was a former member of the Federal House of Representatives on the platform of the Alliance for Democracy (AD). He is the Bobagunwa of Egbaland, a very respectable title in the Egba kingdom and also a die-hard loyalist to former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, the Ebora Owu himself.

One of the State representatives at the recently concluded National Conference in Abuja, (National Confab) Asiwaju (Barr.) Bisi Adegbuyi was named as the Secretary General of the campaign team while Femi Sowolu was appointed as the Head of the Media and Strategy.

Three senatorial director generals were also appointed to coordinate the three senatorial districts in the state, they are: Dr. Gbolade Osinowo (Ogun East), Elder Kunle Elegbede ( Ogun West) and Chief Derin Adebiyi (Ogun Central).

Meanwhile, the APC governorship campaign will flag off on Thursday 8 January in Ogun East Senatorial District, with Remo North local government area of the first point of call.
