Governor Sule Lamido of northern Nigerian state of Jigawa on Sunday urged the electorate in the state to vote out defectors of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to All Progressives Congress (APC) in February elections.

Lamido gave the advice in Buji, Buji Local Government Area of the state, at the commencement of local government PDP campaign rally for governorship and other candidates seeking elective positions.

He said that all defectors seeking for re-election or higher positions with the mandates of PDP were not deserved to be voted for in the upcoming general polls.

According to him, all those that left their party for other political parties are nothing but betrayers and traitors.
