Kaduna State All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship standard bearer and former Federal Capital Territory Minister, Malam Nasir el-Rufai, has accused the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, government in the state of non performance .
He also accused past administrations in the state of squandering over N600 billion federal allocations to the state with nothing to show for it in terms of infrastructure and human development.
El-Rufai who stated this during the flag off of his governorship campaign at International Trade Fair Complex, on Tuesday, said if he wins the election, he would make judicious use of the state’s resources to better the lot of the people .
According to him, emphasis would be placed on qualitative free education from primary to secondary school as well as empower teachers with further training and incentives.
He equally gave assurance that APC-led government would promote agriculture and industrialisation.
He assured that his government would be committed to security of life and property by tackling the roots of intolerance and communal violence, improve human capacity and healthcare delivery, education and social welfare and also re-energize and empower the civil service.
El-Rufai maintained that all these could be achieved if the electorate vote out PDP in the state and at all levels.
