Olayinka Aremu a.k.a. Alayo has concluded plan to release his debut album.
Alayo, who is the leader of an 18-piece band, said he has rounded off rehearsal and will be heading to the studio any moment from now for the recording of the album.
The album, according to him, will be a combination of juju and gospel music, especially Miliki sound.
He said his decision to play Miliki system was borne out of the respect he has for the Juju music king, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi.
The Abeokuta, Ogun State-born singer started his musical career from the church as a chorister with The Apostolic Church, TAC, Yaba.
He was once a choir master with the Ogo-Oluwa C&S Church, Ejigbo, Lagos
After 25 years of performing in the church, Alayo then formed the Glorious Band in 2011 and he has been playing at church concerts and social engagements.
