The House of Representatives member for Ikeja Federal Constituency, James Abiodun Faleke, has been appointed the Director of the Buhari/Osinbajo Campaign for Lagos Office.
The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Anti-Corruption, Ethics and National Values, will coordinate the activities of the Lagos office of the campaign and ensure that the state delivered to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidates, particularly the party’s presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari and his running mate, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
“My brief is to coordinate the activities of individuals, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), volunteer groups and other organistions and all Nigerians interested in effecting a positive change at the federal level,” the former two-time chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area said.
The state coordinators for the 36 states were announced at Abuja on Saturday and they held their maiden meeting with the Director of Field Operations of Buhari/Osinbajo Campaign Organisation, Mr Emenike with the Deputy Director General of the organisation, Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora chairing the meeting.
