With expected volume of human and vehicular movement expected in Lagos on Friday, 30th January, 2015 for the presidential rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Teslim Balogun Stadium (TBS), Surulere, the Lagos State Government has announced plans to ensure free flow of traffic for the event.

The state Commissioner for Transport, Comrade Kayode Opeifa, while announcing the plan on Thursday, 29th January, 2015, stated that the ministry has deployed 500 personnel of the state Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA) to the area to ensure free flow of traffic.

According to Opeifa, the early morning traffic will not be affected by the plan as vehicular and human movement towards the venue of the rally will be controlled by the LASTMA men on ground.

However, P.M. NEWS reliably gathered that as from 9:00 a.m., there will be traffic diversion of vehicles not connected with the rally from the Funsho Williams Avenue at Ojuelegba towards Itire to link Ogunlana Drive to connect Eko Bridge via Bode Thomas, Eric Moore and Adelabu.
