Abdulmalik Usman, otherwise known as Abdulala, one of the members of the defunct musical group, Blacktribe, is set to release his solo song titled Shegege.
The song, Shegege (means move your waist), an Afrobeat, features Nuzak and was produced by Sage Kwality.
“Shegege is set to celebrate the beauty of African woman. It is a song that brings back the memories of how our African women twist their waists on the dance floor and also to teach how to twerk the waists skilfully to any tune,” Abdulala said.
Abdulala is currently studying Business and Human Resource Management in Anglia Ruskin University, United Kingdom. He has worked with some of Nigeria’s finest artistes and music producers including 2Face Idibia, OJB Jezreel, Paul Play Dairo, KWAM 1, Marvelous Benjy, Nelson Brown, Sound Sultan, to mention a few.
He has signed a management deal with Magic Sound Music Group and Bee-Invisible Entertainment.
