Radio One FM Wows With ‘How Road Be?’

Radio One FM, a subsidiary of the FRCN Lagos operations, has debuted with two new programmes: This Morning On Radio 1 and How Road Be?

While This Morning On Radio 1 is a morning talk show, How Road Be? is a programme targeted at a wider listening audience. How Road Be? is an interactive talk-about pidgin English programme, that deals with humour and business. It features Amadi Job as the chief driver; Abigail- chief conductor and Mallam Okadigbo- the replacement conductor.

Amadi Job, who is known as the fantastic brother and chief driver of the programme, said How Road Be? is a traffic programme infused with comedy.

“We give people what happens on the road within the time they are leaving their homes for office. But if however you are held up in traffic, you will be treated to our jokes and safety tips during the programme,” Job said.

Radio 1 FM has been witnessing progressive changes since the coming of Funke Treasure Durodola as its General Manager.  “My goal is to make Radio One the favourite station of that format in Lagos in terms of audience reach and market share,” Durodola said.

She added: “Nigerians are becoming more demanding; we want to satisfy more peoples’ yearnings in broadcasting. This new station will certainly bridge the missing link between the people and proper broadcasting.”
