Pandemonium struck on Tuesday as a middle aged woman, Mrs Taiwo Sheriffdeen gave birth to a baby boy without arms.
Our correspondent gathered that the boy was delivered at exactly 2:07pm at a private hospital, Majotal Medical Clinic located at Ilogbo area of Ado-Odo/Ota local government area of Ogun state.
A confirmed source from the hospital told our correspondent that the baby weighed 3.25 kilogrammes at birth.
The hospital has since turned to an attraction centre as people from far and near have besieged the hospital hoping to catch a glimpse of the incredible baby boy.
The new born baby boy picture has also gone viral on the social media since Wednesday morning.
It was gathered that the father of the new born baby boy, Mr. Mudashiru Sheriffdeen, took to his heels when he was informed that his wife gave birth to a baby without arms.
When PM News visited their home at Bosun Street, Ifo township in Ifo local government area of the state, their home was under lock and key, their neighbours declined to speak with our correspondent on the matter.

Findings in the area confirmed that the baby was the first child of the family. The couple have been married for over two years.
But a young lady who pleaded anonymity informed our correspondent that the man had left home since Tuesday evening with no trace.
“We saw him around 5:30pm when he told us that his wife had given birth to a baby boy. We were rejoicing with him because his wife was due for delivery for like three to four months ago.
“What I just noticed was that he was not comfortable and he was restless while discussing with him, no one could ever thought that he had such a plan. I saw him when leaving, he was holding a bag but I thought he had came to pack some items for his wife, not knowing he is running away.
She noted that his action was not the best at the time. “I don’t think it is wise that he runs away from his family. He should have called on God and on Nigerians to support him in operating the baby abroad. But you men are wicked, now he ran away and left the poor woman to face the music alone,” she said.
Speaking with our correspondent, the mother of the baby disclosed that her husband took to his heels immediately she gave birth to the baby boy without arms.
While expressing her sadness over the incident, the worried mother said: “this is my first child and I do not know why I gave birth to this kind of a baby.
“Immediately my husband was informed that his son had deformity, he ran away and had not come to see me. He is a commercial bus driver, and we had been married now for almost two years before God decided to answer our prayers.
“When I was pregnant, we took every steps that the doctor directed us to take, but we did not know why we came about this calamity,”she explained.
Mrs Taiwo Sheriffdeen however pleaded with well – meaning Nigerians for financial assistance as she has nowhere to go to now that her husband has ask her not to come home.
She called on the state government to come for the baby as she don’t know what to do with the new born baby. “I have been warned by both my husband and our landlord not to bring the child home. The hospital management has also asked us to leave the hospital. Now, this child and I have nowhere to go, I don’t need this baby. I want government to adopt him,” she pleaded.
When our correspondent contacted the State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Elizabeth Sonubi to react to the matter, her mobile line was not connecting.
As at the time of filling this report, she had not responded to the message sent to her mobile line.
