Seek power from God, Gov. Yero tells politicians

Governor Muktar Yero of Kaduna State has advised political office seekers to bear in mind that power comes from God Almighty.

He stated this in Sabongari and Zaria Local Government Areas of the state while concluding his gubernatorial campaign tour of 23 Local Government Areas of the state on Saturday.

Yero said, “We believe that power comes from God and it is only He who gives to whosoever He wishes.

“We promised to execute some projects for you and we have successfully done so,” he said.

The governor appealed to electorate in to vote Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) especially its presidential candidate, President Goodluck Jonathan and all its other candidates.

The governor, who commended the people of the area for their warm reception, promised not to let them down.

Chairman of the party in the state, Amb. Audu Bajoga, called on party loyalists to come out en masse and vote for PDP candidates during the general elections.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the chairman presented flags to candidates vying for various political positions.
