An unidentified commercial motorcyclist popularly called okada was Tuesday morning burnt to death on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos, western Nigeria.
The incident, according to sources, happened at the University of Lagos, UNILAG, area of the bridge around 6.15am.
Report said it caused a serious traffic jam that lasted several hours.
The victim was said to be comng from Iyana Oworo end on top speed.
“Efforts by the security men to stop him proved abortive as he did not heed their order. And on getting to the UNILAG area of the bridge, he was said to skided off the bike and caught fire,” said an eyewitness.
